With a little more than a week to go until the New Year, more 2023 merchandise welcoming in the new year has been spotted around the shops of Walt Disney World, including a Mickey Mouse and Friends Photo Album and a 2023 Park Icon Ceramic Mug.
A 2023 photo album featuring Mickey Mouse and Friends is the latest item in the Disney Parks Dated 2023 Collection that caught our eye inside Big Top Souvenirs. A vintage color scheme highlights Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip N’ Dale all surrounding the album’s title: “Parks, Pals, and Me”. Cinderella Castle and fireworks also stand out in vintage colors on the black cover of the Mickey & Friends Photo Album.
The photo album’s spine features a bright and vintage “2023” pennant as seen across many of the products released as part of the new dated collection. 2023 flies above a classic-looking yellow Walt Disney World logo. The royal blue spine wraps around to the cover and back of the photo album, featuring classic Disney snacks as round, vintage icons lining from top to bottom.
The back of the photo album declares Walt Disney World as “The Best Place to Be” in repeating retro block letters. Vintage pennants featuring Mickey Mouse and friends are scattered across much of the back cover, surrounded by Cinderella Castle and a night sky of fireworks.
The photo album’s lined interior features repeating patterns of Walt Disney World’s four park icons and its signature snacks amid fireworks and logos. 100 interior pages feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n Dale designs, plus Walt Disney World logos and icons and a memo area for writing notes about your favorite park moments. Plastic film covers help to keep each page and each photo protected.
This 2023 Walt Disney World mug features the four park icons in retro yellows and oranges. A retro-looking Walt Disney World logo in grayish-blue sits directly below the Spaceship Earth, Cinderella Castle, Tower of Terror, and the Tree of Life icon landscape. Two firework starbursts are also printed on the front of this ceramic mug.
The opposite side of the Park Icon Mug features the signature “2023” yellow and orange logo seen across much of the Disney Parks Dated Collection. The Disney Monorail comes out from the side and wraps to the front and center of the mug in yellows and gray.
A wide bell-shaped base narrows into the mug’s taller profile adding a vintage, chalice-like feel to this 2023 ceramic mug. A slanted and unsymmetrical handle add another touch of character.
These items are just the latest in 2023 merchandise to hit the shelves of your favorite Disney Park Shops. A 2023 Monorail lunch tote, pin collections, and stuffed plush animals were spotted around Walt Disney World Resort and a Goofy and Cinderella Castle Pennant Pillow, 2023 Disney Skyliner Model, Mickey & Friends Baseball, and a Mickey & Friends Mystery Pennant Pin Set soon followed.
